Our newly updated, Transgender Awareness Online Training Course has been refreshed to be in line with the latest EHRC and UKactive guidance!
The course provides essential knowledge and practical guidance to help staff understand transgender awareness, communicate respectfully, and contribute to an inclusive environment for colleagues, members, and customers alike.
Designed specifically for the leisure sector, this course helps staff working in gyms, swimming pools, health clubs, and other leisure facilities better understand their role in creating welcoming, professional, and inclusive environments. Learners will gain a greater understanding of transgender awareness, inclusive communication, and the practical considerations arising from the latest guidance, helping them feel more confident when supporting both colleagues and facility users.
Course Overview
This course is provided in partnership with BMR Health & Wellbeing and designed for anyone working in the leisure industry or other professional workplaces. This course aims to enhance learners’ understanding of transgender identities and provide practical advice for creating a welcoming and affirming atmosphere in both professional settings and leisure facilities.
