Safeguarding Awareness Training for Managers
Safeguarding is the process of putting measures in place to protect individuals’ health, well-being, and rights, ensuring they remain safe from harm, abuse, and neglect. In the workplace, this is especially important for safeguarding vulnerable groups, including young people, the elderly, marginalised individuals, those with mental health conditions, and people with disabilities.
By the end of this course managers should have an understanding of safeguarding and relevant legislation, different types of abuse, signs and symptoms, recognising abuse, how you should handle a disclosure, what to report.
